- Receiving and processing of the orders are exclusively in the competence of Mrs. Aneta Baklová, the owner of Petland. We reserve the right to end our cooperation with you for not respecting this rule.
- Our services can be ordered by this form or by calculation of the sitting. The order is considered to be binding.
- By submitting an order form, a web-based calculator form, or a registration for submitting a comment on this site, you also agree with the processing of your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 101/2000 Coll. as amended by subsequent amendments and regulations and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR). The consent is granted for an indefinite period of time from the date of submitting and you have the right to have your personal data erased anytime you ask for it. - By sending an order for our services, the pet owner agrees with the current price list, which is to be found here and with our Terms and conditions.
- For booking of dog sitting and cat sitting or pet sitting or visiting of a pet in owner´s place, we require irrevocable deposits 30-50% of the total price of the sitting (more information below in Deposits and cancellation policy).
- Regular customers are required to keep their contact information up-to-date and report any change of residence, email address or phone number prior to the start of the boarding. All customers may be asked to provide a substitute contact for a case that the pet owner will not be available.
- The owner is obliged to familiarise us with the nature of his animal, especially with the tolerance to other people and animals and to alert us to any non-standard behaviour of his animal.
- The owner is obliged to inform us about the health of the animal, the used medication and its dosage.
- The owner agrees with his animal being in contact with other animals during the boarding. For small animals, the contact is not direct but in between the cages.
- The animal can be brought in / taken away daily from 8 am till 10 pm. Upon agreement, it is possible to bring in / take away the animal between 10 pm and 8 am. for an additional cost of 200 CZK.
- The animal brought in before 12 o’clock is paid for with the all-day price. After 12 o’clock, the half-price for the given day is paid. The animal taken away at 12 o’clock is paid for with the half price for the given day, while the animal taken after 12 o’clock is paid for with the all-day price.
- Upon agreement, it is possible to arrange transport of the animal in Prague and the surrounding areas for an additional fee of 15 CZK/ km. For transport of the cage, you will be asked to pay a handling fee of 100 CZK per trip.
- The owner will transport the animal to a prearranged place at a prearranged time. The granted waiting time is 15 minutes over the agreed time. For every further 15 minutes of waiting without an excuse before the agreed date, 50 CZK can be charged. If the owner’s total delay over the agreed time is more than 30 minutes, the animal may not be accepted for the boarding and the order may be cancelled. In such a case, the owner would be notified about the cancellation by telephone or by sms if it is not possible to contact him by telephone.
- If in the case of animal boarding or animal grooming, the owner fails to deliver the animal without excuse before the agreed date, we automatically terminate any future cooperation.
- We reserve the right not to accept an animal with signs of any disease. Animals with a health problem need a written report from the veterinarian about their condition and ongoing treatment. In addition, we reserve the right not to accept an animal without valid vaccination – for dogs, cats and ferrets against rabies and for rabbits against rabbit plague and myxomatosis. We do not accept infectious animals and animals with parasites.
- If the animal does not seem to be completely healthy and is accepted for the sitting or have been already with us for some time, it is moved to the quarantine zone and the owner will be asked for a fee 100 CZK per day. The quarantine fee can also be paid by owners whose animal does not have a valid vaccination or there is no evidence of vaccination (vaccination card).
- According to Decree No. 302/2017 Coll. of Veterinary Act No. 166/1999 Coll., the dog owner is obliged to have his dog chipped and with valid vaccination against rabies. The microchip number has to be stated at the dog’s vaccination certificate or passport. Puppies mustn’t be microchipped later than at the time of the first vaccination against rabies, ie at half a year of age.
- When bringing the animal (dog, cat, ferret and rabbit) in, the owner is required to provide a valid vaccination certificate of the animal as well as the animal food and, if necessary, the medication. In the case of an insufficient amount of animal food, we will provide the food and charge the costs according to the current price list to the pet owner at the end of the boarding.
- We commit to providing the accommodation and necessary care with regard to the animal medical condition and his needs, concerning especially animal feeding and walking.
- In the event of injury or illness of the animal during the sitting, the owner will be charged all costs, including transport to the veterinarian with the fee of 15 CZK / km. Waiting for a veterinarian is charged with 200 CZK / hour. In the case of animal disease, the owner will be informed about the treatment of the animal. We pledge to observe the procedures of treatment prescribed by the veterinarian and to keep the owner regularly informed about the current condition of the animal.
- In the case of the animal causing any damage during the course of the boarding, the owner shall be liable for such damage and agrees to take charge of the associated costs.
- We accept non-aggressive pets only. If the animal at the time of its boarding in Petland causes damage to third parties, attacks someone, injuries or even kills them, these damages will be ascribed to the owner.
- The owner of the animal agrees with his pet being photographed during the boarding and with the further use of the pictures by Petland.
- The owner is entitled to request the animal being given to him before the end of the agreed boarding period. In such a case, the owner may be asked to pay the price for the originally scheduled boarding period.
- The owner is obliged to pick up the animal at an agreed time at an agreed place. The tolerance of waiting for the owner is 15 minutes over the agreed time. For every further 15 minutes of waiting without an excuse before the agreed date, 50 CZK can be charged. After 30 minutes of waiting, the owner may be asked, either by phone or by sms, to pick up the animal at another time.
- If the owner does not pick up his animal on the day of the end of the boarding period, he will be asked to pick up his animal on a substitute date. For each day of delay in relation to the original pick up date, a penalty payment can be charged in addition to the custody fee. The penalty payment means the regular price of boarding + 20%.
- When the animal is picked up, the owner is required to check it and, in the case of any problems, the two parties will fill a protocol describing these problems. Without the protocol, it is assumed that the animal was handed over. The owner of the animal is also obliged to check all the things he has handed over when bringing the animal in and immediately inform us if there is anything missing.
- In the case of pet sitting at the owner’s home, the owner is obliged to tell us if at the time of the pet sitting, the given place is accessible to anyone else. The owner is also obliged to prepare the feeding, the medication and anything else necessary for pet sitting for the entire period agreed. If the amount of feeding is insufficient, we will provide it and charge the costs to the pet owner when returning the keys from the apartment/house. The owner is also obliged to inform us immediately after his return by sms or by e-mail that the apartment and the animal were taken in order. If he fails to do so, it is assumed that everything was in the same condition as the owner of the animal handed it over. If the owner of the animal discovers any deficiencies, the two parties will fill a protocol describing these shortcomings.
Deposits and the cancellation policy
- While booking the pet sitting in our place, we require an irrevocable deposit of 30-50%. If the payment does not happen, the term will be released to other customers. You can pay to a bank account or in cash. The deposit will be deducted from the final price.
- If the deposit for the pet sitting is not be required for any reason and the sitting will be cancelled at least 7 days before the start of the service, 50% of the total amount of the service will be charged.
- While booking the dog sitting or cat sitting in our place, we require an irrevocable deposit of 30-50%. The deposit must be paid to a bank account. The deposit will be deducted from the final price that must be paid on the first day of pet sitting.
- In the case of sitting, dog walking or visits in owner´s place, an irrevocable deposit of 50% is collected while signing the contract.
- In case of the cancellation of regular pet care, dog walking or individual dog training less than 48 hours before the start of the service, 50% of the total amount of the service is charged. In case of the cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the service, 100% of the total amount of the service is going to be charged. If the service is not cancelled and we arrive at your home, 100% of the total amount of the service is charged to the pet owner.
- In the case of an intermittent pet sitting at the owner’s house, pet visits or dog walking, if the customer cancels the service when we have already received the keys from the owner’s home, we are entitled to 50% of the total amount of the service. This amount is paid as a prepayment when the key is handed over. If you don´t cancel our services and we arrive at your home for signing the contract and handing over the keys, cancellation fee 500 CZK is going to be charged.
